Zeit fragt Wetter | Führung und Performance

Zeit fragt das Wetter, wieviel Zeit das Wetter hat...“ lautet der Beginn eines portugiesischen Zungenbrechers, der damit spielt, dass die Bezeichnung für „Zeit“ und „Wetter“ im Portugiesischen identisch ist (tempo). So werden auf spielerische Weise zwei universelle Größen zusammengebracht, die unser aller Lebensbedingungen grundlegend beeinflussen und für massive Veränderungen sorgen. Die Künstler*innen Aliénor Dauchez, Nils Benedikt Fischer, Mónica Martins Nunes und Juliane Tübke untersuchen in den Medien Film, Installation, Zeichnung, Skulptur, Performance sowie in selbst entwickelten Projektionsmaschinen Wandlungs- und Transformationsprozesse klimatischer, technischer und psychosozialer Art.

Time Asks the Weather | Guided Tour and Performance

Guided exhibition tour with the curator and the participating artists plus a performance by Aliénor Dauchez.
“Time asks the weather, how much time the weather has“, begins the opener of a Portuguese tongue twister which plays on the identical Portuguese words for “time” and “weather” (tempo). In this way, two universal variables that fundamentally influence all our living conditions and that cause huge changes are playfully brought together. Through the media of film, installation, drawing, sculpture, performance and hand-built projection machines, the artists Aliénor Dauchez, Nils Benedikt Fischer, Mónica Martins Nunes and Juliane Tübke explore change and transformation processes, be they of a climatic, technical, or psychological nature.
