Das Foresight Team von Arup präsentiert das Film- und Ausstellungskonzept „Common Ground / Gemeinsamer Boden“. Dieses Gedankenexperiment zur regenerativen Zukunft unserer Städte zeigt Orte voller Potential und Vielfalt und erzählt Geschichten, die von einer radikal anderen, einer symbiotischen Beziehung zwischen Menschen und Natur handeln.
Die inspirierende Ausstellung zeigt, wie ein urbaner Lebensraum aussehen kann, in dem sich Mensch und Natur nicht als Gegenpole gegenüberstehen, sondern eins sind.

How can we truly rebalance and restore the needs of people and the planet? The concept of regenerative design calls for a long-term transformation to combine the needs of people with those of the planet by re-thinking and redesigning the world around us. Regenerative Futures by Arup’s Foresight team explores what a regenerative future Berlin might look like through the activation of representative spaces for the resilience of the present and future city. The exhibition reimagines our relationship with the natural world through film, objects and stories and proposes scenarios for the future of Berlin. Panel discussions will bring the notion of resilient cities to a wider audience and collect expert insights from future thinkers, researchers, and designers to suggest what the transition to regenerative design could look like, and how these approaches can enable us to live in harmony with nature.
