Atractor Estudio | Workshop- und Konzertprogramm von Juan Sebastian Aguilar

Atractor Estudio wird vom 18. bis 21. Oktober Workshops über Programmierung, Design und die Poetik der Migration anbieten und am 22. Oktober ein Abschlusskonzert geben.
Alle Aktivitäten basieren auf dem Projekt "The Migrants" von Atractor Estudio, einem Game-Engine-basierten Multimediaprojekt, das durch analoge Prothesen gesteuert wird. Es simuliert die Migration des Yellow Warbler Vogels von Kanada nach Kolumbien im Jahr 2014 und greift dabei die indianische Geste auf, die Sichtweise von Tieren einzunehmen.
Der Sound der Performance wird live über analoge und digitale Synthesizer und speziell für das Stück entwickelte Foley-Instrumente gesteuert. Der gesamte Klang wird mithilfe von Ambisonic-Algorithmen live am Set verräumlicht. Die Teilnahme an den Workshops und Konzerten ist für alle Interessierten kostenlos. Der Eintritt ist lediglich auf die Anzahl der Personen begrenzt, die sich gemäß dem deutschen Gesetz gegen COVID-19 in einem geschlossenen Raum versammeln dürfen.

AtractorEstudio will be teaching workshops on programming, design and the poetics of migration, from the 18th to the 21st of October; and performing a closing concert on the 22nd of October.

All activities are based on Atractor Estudio's project "The Migrants", a game engine-based multimedia project controlled through analogue prosthesis, simulating the migration of the Yellow Warbler bird from Canada to Colombia in 2014, recovering the Amerindian gesture of adopting the point of view of animals.

The sound of the performance is controlled live through analogue and digital synthesizers and foley instruments developed specifically for the piece. All the sound is spatialized using ambisonic algorithms live on set. Everybody interested in attending the workshops and concerts can do so for free. Entrance will only be limited to the amount of people allowed to gather in one closed space according to the German law against COVID-19.
