As part of the prelude to Transmediale 2024, an interactive exhibition weekend entitled Utopian Playground took place at feldfünf from 26 to 28 January. Six teams from the Berlin University of the Arts have developed a new generation of board games that deal with the crises of our time. During the exhibition, visitors could take part in game sessions, explore the exhibition and develop their own games to immerse themselves in the world of the Utopian Playground.
On Friday 26 January at 8:30 pm, the opening took place, where all the games were presented by the students and a toast was raised to the opening of the Utopian Playground weekend!

The Utopian Playground was initiated by designtransfer/ UdK Berlin and runs during transmediale 2024/ prelude at feldfünf. Some of the games were developed in the seminar “UBERtrumpfen” with Prof Klaus Gasteier at the UdK Berlin.
