RnW präsentiert die zweite und letzte Auftaktveranstaltung für ihre bevorstehende Vinyl-Veröffentlichung Transparencies. RnW wird die RAW Record Release Ausstellung mit einer Hörprobe eröffnen und dem Publikum die Möglichkeit geben die Platte erstmals anzuhören. Gleichzeitig wird das Team ihre Recherche in Form einer Installation präsentieren, welche Einblick, Inspiration und Motivation um das Thema Transparency vorstellt. Um den Abend abzuschließen wird das audio-visuelle Projekt Orrrd das präsentierte Material als Input für eine algorithmische Performance nutzen und damit das Thema neu kontextualisieren.

Transparencies: Prelude II

Date: 19.1.2019, 7—10pm

RnW presents the second of two prelude events for their upcoming vinyl release Transparencies. They will introduce the RAW record release exhibition series during a listening session and give the audience the chance to hear the audio contributions for the new record before they are pressed onto vinyl. Concurrently the team will showcase their research through an installation that brings together items of insight, inspiration and motivation around the value of Transparency. To conclude the evening audio-visual art project Orrrd will use the presented materials as input for an algorithmic performance that will map the content anew.
