Lebenswerte Stadt – Architektur trifft Mobilität | Dialog | Women in Architecture 2021

Diskussion im Metropolenhaus mit anschließender Exkursion

Kurzinputs und Diskussion zu aktuellen Projekten autofreier Quartiere (unter anderem: Autofreie Friedrichstraße in Berlin) sowie zu den Projekten »Bundesweites Netzwerk Wohnen und Mobilität« und »Straßen für Menschen«  des VCD. Die Projekte fördern den Wissensaustausch zwischen Kommunen, Wohnungsmarktakteuren und Mobilitätsdienstleistern, um gemeinsam nachhaltige Mobilitätsangebote im Wohnquartier zu fördern.
In der Diskussion verknüpfen wir die Disziplinen Architektur/ Stadtplanung/ Mobilitätsplanung und zeigen die vielfältigen Berührungspunkte auf. Der besondere Blickwinkel von Frauen kommt ebenfalls zur Sprache: denn Frauen sind anders mobil und wer weiß, vielleicht planen sie auch anders?

Exkursion zu Fuß und per Bike zum Projekt „Autofreie Friedrichstraße“, begleitet von Tanja Terruli mit Hinweisen und guten Argumenten zu Aufenthaltsqualität, Flächengerechtigkeit.
Während der Veranstaltung ist die Wanderausstellung „Wohnen und Mobilität“ mit wichtigen Fakten zu (weiblicher) Mobilität zu sehen.

Ausklang für Mitglieder von Women in Mobility und Women in Architecture (n-ails eV). Der Ort wird kurzfristig bekanntgegeben.

Liveable City – Architecture Meets Mobility | Dialogue | Women in Architecture 2021

Discussion in the Metropolenhaus followed by an excursion

Short inputs and discussion on current projects of car-free neighborhoods (among others: car-free Friedrichstraße in Berlin) as well as on the projects "Nationwide Network Housing and Mobility" and "Streets for People" of the VCD. The projects promote the exchange of knowledge between municipalities, housing market actors and mobility service providers in order to jointly promote sustainable mobility offers in residential neighborhoods.
In the discussion, we link the disciplines of architecture/urban planning/mobility planning and show the many points of contact. The special perspective of women will also be addressed: because women are differently mobile and who knows, maybe they also plan differently?

Excursion on foot and by bike to the project "Car-free Friedrichstraße", accompanied by Tanja Terruli with hints and good arguments about quality of stay, area justice.
During the event, the traveling exhibition "Wohnen und Mobilität" (Living and Mobility) with important facts about (female) mobility will be on display.

Evening for members of Women in Mobility and Women in Architecture (n-ails eV). The location will be announced at short notice.
