Kinder-Vernissage
: 9. Juli ab 11 Uhr
Öffnungszeiten: Mi-Fr 10–15 Uhr, Sa, So 10–16 Uhr

Mühlenhaupt's World of Little People | Hands-On-Exhibition in cooperation with Kurt Mühlenhaupt Museum

Children's opening: 09 July from 11am
Opening hours: Wed – Fri: 10–3pm, Sat, Sun: 10–4pm

Reading, printing, painting - The Kurt Mühlenhaupt Museum shows in the project rooms of feldfünf, on the occasion of the 100th Kurt Mühlenhaupt anniversary, an exhibition with summer holiday program for children (and adults).

Kurt Mühlenhaupt was interested in the scenes of everyday life, his neighbors and the little people, and always especially the children. As part of the big anniversary program, the exhibition in feldfünf will therefore be especially about them: It presents original illustrations and large-format reproductions from children's books by the painter from Kreuzberg. Children and adults can explore the picture books, which include texts by well-known authors such as Sarah Kirsch, Wolf Biermann and Peter-Paul Zahl, as well as Mühlenhaupt's humorous drawings.

The program is complemented by printing workshops for children. These take place at feldfünf on weekends from 10:00 to 16:00 and can be attended free of charge and without advance registration.

Registrations for groups are welcome, especially for the printing workshops during the week. Please send an email to jeannette.donda@muehlenhaupt.de.

Curated by the Kurt Mühlenhaupt Museum.
